I just point my camera outside and magic happens

March 30, 2012

Everything in my village looks like this just before sunset. Perhaps not quite so yellow, but the sky takes on this blue indigo hue before the sun sets behind the hills and the shadow covers everything.

This tree is in the middle of the crossroads in front of my house. The girl in the corner of the picture is retrieving a ball made of layers of plastic bread bags. I don’t know what the game they’re playing is called. They’ve told me a few different things but they usually just call it “ball”. It has something to do with kicking down a stack of aluminum cans in the middle of the road tier by tier while people at opposite ends of the road throw a ball at you.
